In the hopes of starting a grant for proven descendants of the Baldwin Hall findings, for the span of a year, I collected donations with every dollar donated going toward receive a raffle ticket with the ticket drawn getting to shave my head on March 11, 2023.

My attempt to follow through on my promise as UGA NAACP President in holding #ArchAccountability on Juneteenth was one only amplified by the generosity of countless others, and I only hope this starting point is built upon for years to come. That said, this fundraiser still remains open for anyone willing to contribute in an effort to increase Black students’ recruitment to the University of Georgia through Georgia Daze in addition to providing education benefits to those descendants of the Baldwin Hall findings.
